Welcome to Wild Plum Photo!

Hi! Thank you for visiting my website! I thought I would start the blog by introducing myself! I am Leah Pobanz, owner and photographer of Wild Plum Photo. I currently live in Kearney, Nebraska although I was born in San Diego, California and spent most of my childhood there. I have a great family consisting of my husband, Chris and my two fun, happy and loving girls that keep all of my free time occupied.

A few little quirks and info about me: I LOVE to travel! It is my most favorite thing, because I can see the world AND photograph my experiences with my family. I love being in new places and learning about it! I also love Mexican food, contrast and pops of color, black and white striped EVERYTHING, and shopping. I love God, I am a Virgo, and I love to educate myself on my passions. I feel like the world is always changing and I want to keep up! I love being around others, especially friends and family. I sometimes like my own space, but more often than not, I would rather be socializing and laughing with people. I love change in my home once in a while because I get bored of sameness and it results in big projects my husband doesn’t love. Oops!

I started photography about 10 years ago, but never really wanted to make it a business until about 5 years ago. I have been specializing in High School Senior Photography for 3 years now and I never regret cutting everything else out. I have so much fun with Seniors! I am passionate about not only photographing them, but also giving them a fun experience! I want my seniors to love their photos! I know sometimes they can be very hard on themselves and I feel like I have won when they can look at a picture and see the beauty that I see!

I am so glad you came to see my website. Please feel to chat with me if you have questions about my senior experience or if you want to socialize!! I would love to hear from you! Thank you for listening to me ramble on about… me!
